We Love Our Community!
The first thing to know about us is that we do this because of you. We love seeing your smiling faces. We love being part of local events – every festival, faire, or soiree we attend is a joy and we get to meet so many people! We also love being a regular stop at our local parks! This is how we connect with our community and community is at the heart of the hawaiian culture that inspired shave ice.
SweetBay is a family business. Kelly and Chad Prusz are the proprietors and their kids, Bailey (SweetBay) and Chase work at the stand to earn money, mostly in an effort to fund their future college & traveling endeavors.
Most of our employees come from our local high schools and colleges as a way to earn extra money during the warm summer months!

If you don’t know which flavor to pick, try the rainbow. To us, the rainbow is not only a symbol of pride for many of our clients and friends, it is the foundation of why we shave ice. You can get your shave ice in whatever flavor appeals to you. You can express yourself through a myriad of flavors and colors that celebrate and accentuate your unique flavor. Everyone is different, but we’re all the same in that we love sweet treats and friends to share them with.
